My Services
Dually licensed LCAS/LCSW based in Asheville, NC providing individual therapy to adults 18 and older in person at my office in Montford or online via tele-therapy to folx living throughout NC. I have particular expertise in treating mental health and substance use disorders independently or in co-occurring form.
In working together, our relationship will serve as a foundation for you to embrace the life you want to live. I understand that relationships are an important vehicle for change, and I treat each person in a caring and respectful manner, mindful of individual differences and diversity. I welcome all clients regardless of gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity or nationality, political views, religious affiliation, ability, or socioeconomic status. I recognize each person needs a tailored treatment approach, therefore I incorporate a person- centered and individualized combination of evidenced based practices including: Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Relapse Prevention, and trauma informed therapy modalities (Seeking Safety, etc.)
I devote my practice to working with adults experiencing the following challenges or combinations of:
Complex/Dual Diagnosis (Combination of Mental Health and Substance Use challenges)
Substance Use/Abuse/Addiction, Chronic Relapse, Relapse Prevention
Mood Disorders (ex. Bipolar Disorder, Depression)

Schizophrenia Spectrum and Other Psychotic Disorders
